Established in 2015, the HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS is an IMDb Qualifying independent film competition with a unique opportunity for PR geared toward independent filmmakers worldwide.

Making an independent movie is a challenge and we here at HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS and FESTIVAL want to help you put your film on the path to success with all of the recognition, notoriety and accolades you and your film deserve.

​

As HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS and FESTIVAL is committed to showcasing TRULY independent films, we are dedicated to finding those "hidden gems" that may otherwise be overlooked by the bigger festivals because of the lack of name recognition or budget.

In previous years, the HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS held live screenings at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, however since the worldwide Corona Virus pandemic, we will be holding live screenings at a new location in Beverly Hills, California.

​

The live screening will take place at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, California. We'll have a red carpet and a professional photographer on hand. Each winning filmmaker will have the opportunity to introduce their film and thank their cast and crew before their screening and will be offered a Q & A after their film if desired.
