Established in 2015, the HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS is an IMDb Qualifying independent film competition and live screening event combined with a unique opportunity for PR geared toward independent filmmakers worldwide.

Making an independent movie is a challenge and we here at HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS and FESTIVAL want to help you put your film on the path to success with all of the recognition, notoriety and accolades you and your film deserve.

As HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS and FESTIVAL is committed to showcasing TRULY independent films, we are dedicated to finding those "hidden gems" that may otherwise be overlooked by the bigger festivals because of the lack of name recognition or budget.

We are thrilled to announce that, once again, we will be screening selected winning films at PARAMOUNT STUDIOS in Hollywood on TBA 2022. Invaluable exposure for your hard work! ***DUE TO THE CURRENT WORLDWIDE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IN LOS ANGELES, THE LIVE SCREENING IS NO LONGER GUARANTEED.

Our live screening event at Paramount Studios will include a day of festivities including multiple screenings of various selected entries, filmmaker Q&A's, red carpet arrivals and photographs and delivering of awards to winning filmmakers.
